A guardian nearby as a young shoveler talks with a homeowner

Parents stay in the picture.

For ages 11–13, the verified guardian creates a managed profile, approves participation, and handles quotes, messages, job updates, payment confirmation, and reviews. The guardian must accompany the 11–13 provider and remain outdoors during each small walkway job. Providers aged 14–17 have their own account and need a separate verified guardian account. Guardians follow booked jobs and share the conversation.

Approval can be withdrawn to stop new quotes, bookings, and job starts. If a job is already underway, contact the customer and administrator to arrange a safe resolution.

Before a job

Choose a suitable, ground-level residential job. Read the scope, check the weather, and agree on daylight timing. Tell a trusted adult where you’ll be. Exact addresses are visible only after booking.

During a job

Stay outdoors. Wear suitable winter footwear and clothing, take breaks, and stop if conditions feel unsafe. This service is for hand shoveling, not roofs, ladders, roads, powered equipment, or hazardous ice removal.

After a job

Confirm completion in the portal and record direct payment. Both people can leave a review. Report concerning behaviour, payment problems, or private information in reviews to the administrator.

Email verification confirms email access. Administrator review and guardian consent are not identity verification, insurance, or background checks. A linked guardian is expected to know and be responsible for the young provider.
